Two men were recently booked at the Gwinnett County Jail while one additional suspect remains at large in connection with a series of shoplifting cases at T-Mobile stores in Georgia and across the country.

According to a press release from the Gwinnett County Police Department, investigators first began an investigation into the matter after responding on July 3 to a shoplifting at the T-Mobile on Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree Corners.

The suspect in that case was identified as Damani Wright, 24, of Alpharetta. He was charged with theft by shoplifting and booked at the Gwinnett County Jail on July 22.

However, investigators discovered a more extensive, organized theft problem during the investigation. As a result, detectives across metro Atlanta and various states identified Wright, Jason Hall, 38 of Lawrenceville, and Brent Brooks, 39, as suspects in a series of thefts.

Wright and Hall are both in the Gwinnett County Jail, but Brooks remains at large. The agency said Brooks may have left Georgia.

"Representatives estimate these suspects may be responsible for around a half million dollars in theft from T-Mobile stores nationwide," the press release said.

Additional charges from other law enforcement agencies could be forthcoming.

Anyone with information on Brooks' whereabouts should contact GCPD detectives at (770) 513-5300.  To remain anonymous, tipsters should contact Crime Stoppers at (404) 577-8477 or visit www.stopcrimeATL.com.
