BERTHOUD, Colo. — Play was suspended in the second round of The Ascendant at TPC Colorado on Friday due to lightning.
Spencer Ralston was seven holes into his round (No. 17), sitting at 2-over par for the tournament. The Gainesville native was 12 shots off the lead but just three back of the cutline set at 1-under par.
He started the day at 1-over but opened his d=round with a birdie on the Par 4 10th. However, he would bogey Nos. 14 and 16 before play was stopped for the day.
The second round will resume at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday.
