Ketrina Mitchell, CEO and co-founder of I Beat A.L.L. has been appointed to the Young Harris College Board of Trustees.

Mitchell started I Beat. A.L.L. with her late husband, Coach Dwynell Mitchell, in 2009.

Dwynell had been diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia (A.L.L.) but the couple continued to host outdoor basketball camps and rented space to host after-school programs and summer camps.

The mission of the organization is to give students the opportunity to obtain an education and to reward them for their academic excellence, impeccable moral conduct, and athletic abilities.

The partnership provides four students a year with scholarships to attend YHC.

“Being able to serve on the board as an elected trustee for the prestigious Young Harris College is an honor,” Ms. Mitchell said. “I look forward to not just serving, but to helping create a more diverse learning environment that all youth from all communities will thrive in," she continued.
