Suspect in Lilburn shooting death turns himself in

A man accused of shooting and killing another man in Lilburn early Saturday morning has turned himself in to authorities.
 
According to an updated release from the Gwinnett County Police Department, Miguel Rodriguez, 19, turned himself in on Tuesday in connection with the shooting death of Felipe Velasco. 
 
He is being held on charges of felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during a felony.
 
Detectives believe Rodriguez was visiting the home when there was an argument between him and Velasco which resulted in the shooting.

The Gwinnett County Police Department is searching for a man accused of killing another man in Lilburn Friday night.
 
The shooting happened around 12:40 a.m. at a residence on 1446 Fox Forest Court Southwest in Lilburn. When officers arrived, they found Felipe Velasco, 45, with a gunshot wound. 
 
Velasco was transported to the hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
 
Authorities are looking for the alleged suspect, Miguel Rodriguez, 19.
 
Rodriguez has been charged with felony murder and aggravated assault. There is an active warrant out for his arrest and he was last seen driving a Jeep Wrangler with a Georgia license tag of “XEG482.”
 
According to police, the shooting is believed to be domestic-related.
