COVINGTON, Ga. — Flowery Branch stayed in a tie for first place with Loganville in Region 8-5A with a solid 7-0 win over Eastside on the road on Thursday.
Nikki Harris once again dominated in the circle, fanning 14 while scattering seven hits in a complete-game effort.

Peyton Baker, Alyssa Wagner, Olivia Heck, Isabelle Lee all had one hit for the Lady Falcons 1 hit
Flowery Branch (6-1, 3-0 Region 8-5A) next will travel to Winder-Barrow on Tuesday in another key region road contest.

The Lady Dragons stayed just one-half game back in Region 8-5A with a rout of the Lady Gladiators at home on Thursday.
Addison Self got the win allowing just one run on one hit and struck out five.
The offense exploded for five runs in the second and six in the third to blow the game open.
Skylar Brady pounded out three hits and drove in three runs to pace the Jefferson offense. Audrey Burton, Taylor Spivey, and Avery Hays all had two hits and two RBI for the Lady Dragons.
Maleia Truelove also had two hits and as the top six Jefferson batters went 12-of-16 with 10 RBI in just three-plus innings.
Jefferson next will travel to Loganville on Tuesday.
