OMAHA, Neb. — Sitting two shots off the cut line with three holes to play Friday in the second round of the Korn Ferry Tour Pinnacle Bank Championship at The Club at Indian Creek course, Spencer Ralston came through in the clutch.

The Gainesville-native birdied Nos. 6 and 7 (his 15th and 16th holes) and closed out a 4-under par 67 with two pars to qualify for the weekend.

Ralston came into Friday's round four shots off the cut line after a rough 3-over 74 on Thursday. Beginning on No. 10 on Thursday, Ralston fired out of the with birdies on Nos. 12, 14, and 15 to climb to even par. But a bogey on No. 18 put him two off the pace. He birdied No. 1 (his 10th hole of the day) and had three straight pars before another bogey on No. 5 again put him two shots back of making the cut.

But Ralston responded with a birdie on the Par 4 6th and a birdie on the Par 5 7th.

Ralston  will have his work cut out for him to climb back onto the first page of the leaderboard. He is tied for 52nd, seven shots behind halfway leaders Nelson Ledesma, Taylor Montgomery, and Andrew Yun, who all are at 8-under 134.

Ralston will be the first to tee off for Saturday's third round, beginning his day at 9:05 a.m.
