4 arrested, several injured in stabbing dispute at Burton Mill Park

Four men have been arrested after a dispute at a Hall County park that resulted in multiple stabbings.

None of the wounds appear to be life-threatening, according to the Hall County Sheriff's Office.

Last Saturday, shortly before 5 p.m., deputies responded to a call at Burton Mill Park, in the 6500 block of Yacht Club Road, where they found a 19 year old Buford man who had been physically attacked. The man and one of the suspects had apparently been involved in a dispute, though it was not released what the dispute was about.

A relative of the victim, another 19 year old man, attempted to intervene in the attack, using a knife to protect his relative from further harm.

In the end, four men were taken by ambulance to area hospitals for treatment, including the victim. He suffered several cuts and facial bruising, as well as a stab wound to the ankle that is believed to be an accidental injury by the relative's knife.

The Sheriff's Office says Terry Lamont Holifield, 21, of Flowery Branch; Paul Markeese King, 21, of Flowery Branch; Raylon Adream Long, 19, of Cumming; and Trenton Vanquarius Wilson, 19, of Flowery Branch all were arrested on battery charges the same day. King was stabbed in the arm, but was medically cleared for arrest following treatment.

Charges are not expected against the victim and his relative, the Sheriff's Office said.

Long remains in the Hall County Jail as of Tuesday afternoon, but the other three suspects each posted $5,700 bond.

Investigators continue to look into the case, including the involvement of an 18-year-old Flowery Branch man, who suffered a stab wound to the abdomen, and a Cleveland man, also 18, who was stabbed in the back during the incident
