By AccessWDUN Staff

After an extensive search and interview process, Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) is pleased to welcome Luisa Gutman as its Chief Human Resources Officer.

“Luisa comes to NGHS with almost thirty years of human resources and leadership expertise,” said Carol Burrell, president and CEO of NGHS. “Her experience working with health systems across the country equips her to serve our growing organization and immediately contribute to our mission to improve the health of our community in all we do.”

Gutman received her bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Buenos Aires and her Master of Science from Florida International University.

She will lead all aspects of all human resources throughout the health system, including workforce planning and talent acquisition, total rewards, employee well-being, talent management and development, safety and employee engagement.

“NGHS’ growth and reputation offer an exciting opportunity,” said Gutman. “I look forward to partnering with our executive team and physician leadership to help drive the system’s strategic priorities forward.”

Prior to joining Northeast Georgia Health System, Luisa served as a consultant for Jefferson Health in Philadelphia, where she helped standardize compensation and benefit programs across the five-hospital system. She also held several management positions over her 24-year career with Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, including Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer.
