Mangum Road near Talmo will be closed for 30 days starting Monday.
The state Department of Transportation plans a "reconstruction" of the road and an adjustment to the elevation of the road so it matches the newly-widened Athens Highway (U.S. 129).
DOT officials say traffic will be detoured by way of Bob Bryant Road.
