Three arrested in Hall County massage parlor sting

By B.J. Williams

After receiving some anonymous tips, undercover agents with the Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad sent undercover officers into two local massage parlors and arrested three women for illegal activity.

Lt. Don Scalia said the arrests happened on Tuesday, Nov. 26. The announcement of the arrests was made on Monday, Dec. 2.

"My office had received complaints in reference to a couple of massage parlors in town that were doing things they weren't supposed to be doing. They were offering basically sexual acts in exchange for money," Scalia said. "So we sent some undercover officers in to see what was going on, and it was exactly as it was reported to me. They offered the undercover officers sexual acts in exchange for money."

Scalia said one woman was arrested at a business in the 4800 block of Golden Parkway in Buford. Ning Escobar, 55, of Duluth has been charged with keeping a place of prostitution, unlawful massage for lewdness and masturbation for hire.

The other two arrests occurred at a massage parlor in the 1700 block of Atlanta Highway in Gainesville. Kim Kiwi Son Reese, 59 of Gainesville was charged with prostitution and keeping a place of prostitution while Hyun Ok Greaves, 61, of Gainesville was charged with keeping a place of prostitution.

Scalia said he does not expect other arrests in this particular investigation.
