By B.J. Williams

An Oakwood day spa has been shut down and one of its employees faces prostitution and other charges.

In an email statement, the Oakwood Police Department said it began receiving complaints of possible prostitution occurring at Coco Spa in the 4300 block of Mundy Mill Road.

As a result of the complaints, officers conducted an undercover operation at the spa on Friday, Oct. 27.

"As a result of the operation, Myoung Tucker, an employee of the business, was arrested and charged with offering massage without a license, masturbation for hire and prostitution," the email statement said.

Coco Spa was closed as a result; Oakwood City Council will review the violations at an upcoming meeting.

Oakwood police said the investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.
