The powered vehicles division of Fox Factory Holding Corp. will build a new facility in Hall County and will bring hundreds of jobs to the area in the process.
Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Vice President of Economic Development Tim Evans said Wednesday the plant will have big impact on the region.
"They are projecting growing to about 800 jobs," Evans said. "Also they are looking to make about a $50 million investment."
Fox Factory Holding Corp is a designer and manufacturer of performance-defining, ride dynamics products primarily for bicycles and powered vehicles, according to information from Gov. Nathan Deal's office. The governor announced the headquarters relocation in a Wednesday afternoon press statement. The company is currently headquartered in Scott's Valley, California.
The plant will be located on West Park Drive. Construction is expected to get underway early next year with the plant being operational in 2020.
