Officials with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation have confirmed that they are assisting with a death investigation at a park in Jackson County.
Spokeswoman Nelly Miles confirmed that agents are working at Sells Mill Park on Jackson Trail Road in Hoschton. She says the body was discovered in a creek just after noon by a visitor to the park.
Atlanta media reports indicate that law enforcement is unsure if foul play is involved.
Miles says the name of the deceased will not be released until the family can be notified.
