Lynch takes over as manager at Lake Lanier Olympic Park

The Lake Lanier Olympic Park has named Robyn Lynch as the new venue manager.
 
"I have volunteered out at the venue for a while and I was excited about some of the things we have going on and the improvements being made," said Lynch. "So when the opportunity came up, I thought it would fit in with my skill set."
 
Lynch's background is in fund raising, community and government relations and event planning. "It was a perfect opportunity for me."
 
Lynch said she was excited to follow through with the projects already in motion at the park, like the renovation of the boat house. Her goal is to get people to the park. "There are still people who haven't been out to the park or think that the park is just for the rowing and kayak community. And really, it's a park for the whole community," Lynch said, adding the beach, picnic areas and boat ramps were open to everyone.
 
Lynch has lived in the Hall County area for 13 years.
