Everybody was evacuated Thursday afternoon from a business in Northeast Hall County due a fire.
Crews arriving on scene found heavy smoke, but employees at Pinnacle Elastomeric Technology in the Mountain Center Plaza told firefighters that the fire had already been extinguished, said Hall County Fire Services Spokesman Zach Brackett.
All workers were accounted for in the evacuation, said Brackett in an email; nobody was injured.
Two residents of a nearby home were evaluated at the scene as well.
Crews were working to clear the ventilation of the building of any remaining smoke, at last report.
