Hall County Government is hosting a Visioning Workshop Tuesday on the update of the county's Comprehensive Land Use Plan.
According to county officials, the workshop's primary purpose is to receive input on the vision for the future of Hall County. They will be looking for ideas about land use, housing, economic development, cultural preservation and protection of environmental resources.
This will be the second in a series of public meetings for Hall County Forward, the County's Comprehensive Plan Update and, according to a press release from the county, will be formatted to assist attendees with identifying their vision for future growth and development and addressing three key planning questions - "What do we have?" "What do we want?" and "How will we get it?"
"The workshop will be interactive and allow attendees to participate in groups to identify local needs and opportunities, and design the County's future," said Hall County Planning Director Srikanth Yamala.
The meeting will begin at 6:00 in the County Commission Meeting Room at the county Government Center.
