FLOWERY BRANCH — The city of Flowery Branch now has a full contingent of council members.
Monica Beatty was the winner of Tuesday's special election runoff to fill a city council post vacated earlier this year by Tara Richards.
Just 175 people voted in the runoff - Beatty garnered 102 of those votes. Her runoff opponent, Nicole Kriews received 73 votes.
Beatty will be sworn in to office on August 6
