GAINESVILLE - Hall County authorities have arrested a now former Hall County Parks Maintenance Supervisor on drug charges.
According to Deputy Nicole Bailes with the Hall County Sheriff's Office, the Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad arrested Corey Martin on Thursday.

"Martin, 39, of Gainesville, was arrested and charged with possession of less than a quarter gram of methamphetamine," Bailes said.
Bailes noted that Martin's tenure with Hall County came to an abrupt end as the arrest and subsequent charges came to light.

"Martin had been employed [with the county] since 2010, and was fired in response to these charges," she said.
