The National Weather Service has announced that a Winter Storm Warning will be in effect for many North and Central Georgia areas through Wednesday morning. NWS predicts snow accumulations of 2-6 inches.

Barrow County: Due to the continued impact of winter weather, Barrow County offices will be closed for the entire day Wednesday, Jan. 22. Citizens are advised to remain off the roads, especially on hilly roads and side streets.
