CUMMING— Buford Highway near the Chattahoochee River in Forsyth County was shut down by officials as they worked tp clear an injury crash involving an 18-wheeler and a work truck.
Deputy Robin Regan with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said one person was taken to the hospital, and is listed in stable condition.
"The crash was significant. We've got some haz-mat issues with leaking fuel," said Regan.
Regan said the roadway had re-opened and was cleared just before 3:30 p.m., however, there was still some traffic back up.
