GAINESVILLE — Due to forecasts of heavy rain this weekend, Brenau University has altered the itinerary for Homecoming Weekend 2015.
Saturday’s homecoming parade and the Fly Betty Band concert have been canceled, while the alumni biergarten event originally scheduled on Wilkes Lawn at 3:30 p.m. has now been moved indoors to the Wilkes Board Room and the Lockett Mitchell Parlor.
A home soccer match against Faulkner is still a go for 5:30 p.m. at the Allen Creek Soccer Complex, but a scheduled cook-out has been canceled.
The rest of the homecoming schedule, however, remains unchanged. An updated itinerary is available on the university web site.
