ATLANTA - A metro Atlanta lawmaker is forming a legislative sub-committee to try to find strategies for dealing with the fallout from this week's ruling striking down the state Charter School Commission.
Dunwoody Sen. Fran Millar tells Georgia News Network the group of five lawmakers will bring in experts and hold a public meeting within the next two weeks.
Millar is doubtful, though, the state Supreme Court will agree to reconsider its ruling and he says it'll be at least next year before a Constitutional amendment could be passed to help resolve the funding crisis for charter schools.
