GAINESVILLE - The next chapter in the ongoing controversy over where a new North Hall library should be located is expected to be written today.
The Hall County Commission plans to hold a workshop today to dicuss the matter which centers on whether the library should be located in Clermont as originally planned or on Nopone Road which Commission Chairman Tom Oliver suggested a couple of weeks ago.
The issue is expected to be discussed by the commission following the board's regular commission work session, which begins at 9:00 at the courthouse annex.
Meanwhile, Clermont City attorney David Syfan told a town hall rally in Clermont Saturday he hopes commissioners do the "right thing" about the town's new library when they meet on Thursday. (See separate story.)
