GAINESVILLE - A Gainesville woman, prominent in state Republican circles for many years, is one of the new members of the Reed for Lt. Governor Statewide Steering Committee. Dot Burns is one of two northeast Georgians who are new to the committee. The other is Blue Ridge Police Chief Johnny Scearce.
