Enota to be closed for improvements

GAINESVILLE - A busy street in north Gainesville will be closed to through traffic for several weeks starting later this month.

Enota Avenue/Enota Drive between Thompson Bridge Road and Park Hill Drive is in line for what city officials describe as "some significant improvements," according to city officials.

The work will include removal of existing asphalt, re-construction of the road base and resurfacing.

The work is expected to begin later this month and be finished by the end of July.
