Voter registration deadline near in Hall

GAINESVILLE - The deadline to register to vote in this year's municipal elections in Hall County is fast approaching.

The deadline is Monday for residents in all four of the towns where elections will take place, according to Anne Philips, director of elections/voter registration for Hall County.

Only people who live inside the city limits of Gainesville, Flowery Branch, Clermont, and Lula will be eligible to vote.

"You can register to vote at the individual cities, the driver's license bureau, library and there's several other locations as well as our office," Phillips said. "You can also request an application or have someone just pick up an application for you. You can mail that application back in as long as it's postmarked by Monday the 6th of October."

The elections will be held November 4.
