Patrons for the WeGo rideshare service with Hall County may be experiencing a difficult time with the process Monday morning.
Social media posts from the City of Gainesville, indicate that they are aware of an outage impacting telephones at Hall Area Transit (HAT), which oversees the WeGo rideshare service. just before 10:00 a.m. Monday. Reasons behind the outage have not been indicated.
Gainesville officals say that due to the outage, HAT staff is unable to receive external calls. They can, however, see missed calls and are returning calls from the public as soon as possible.
Authorities with the group are working to obtain an estimated restoration time, as of this publication.
