Four people injured after Saturday ATV crash near Clarkesville

The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) has an update in a Habersham County ATV crash that injured four.

According to GSP, the ATV was negotiation a right curve on a steep embankment of a private property near Clarkesville.

The driver operated it at a speed too fast for the terrain and overturned. All occupants were juveniles who were treated for injuries from the crash.

Four people were injured Saturday night after an ATV crash in the Macedonia community outside Clarkesville.

Rob Moore with the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the area of Wild Iris Road off Mountain Ranch Road at around 8:45 p.m. 

The four injured people were taken to a local hospital by Habersham County Emergency Services and Stephens County Emergency Medical Services.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating, and AccessWDUN has contacted the agency for more information.
