The Hall County Board of Education announced on Friday its intention to adopt a millage rate of 14.99 mills for the 2025 fiscal year.
The rate is .033 mills below the rollback rate of 15.032 mills, a tax decrease.
Residents are invited to public meetings on the fiscal year 2026 budget and millage rate held on August 25, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Everwood Elementary School, 5240 McEver Road, Oakwood, GA 30566
and September 8, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Hall County School District, 711 Green Street, Gainesville, Georgia 30501.
