GAINESVILLE, Ga. — North Hall stayed perfect in region 6-3A play after routing rival Chestatee 15-1 in four innings on Monday at the Lynn Cottrell Complex.
The Lady Trojans (6-1, 2-0 Region 6-3A) scored four in the first and then exploded for seven runs in the third and four more in the fourth.
North Hall got three hits from Marley Weaver and two hits apiece from Genesis Satterfield, Alizah Schlieman, Kyndall Lipscomb, and Hadleigh Crumley.
Peyton Prater got the win for North Hall, scattering four hits and allowing just one run while striking out five.
North Hall will play host to Pickens on Thursday in another Region 6-3A contest.
JEFFERSON 16,
ALCOVY 0 (3 inn)
The Lady Dragons improved to 8-0 on the season after demolishing Alcovy at home on Monday.
Jefferson scored 11 runs in the opening frame with Jenna Rapp smacking a lead-off home run to center field to get things started on a 16-hit attack. After a pair of runs scored on a wild pitch, Addi Hester singled in a run to push the lead to 5-0 and the Lady Dragons scored six more after two were out in the inning, including a two-run single from Reagan Hayes, and a two-run double by Ally Baldwin.
The Mercy Rule was invoked when Jefferson scored five more in the second.
Braelynn Vandiver fanned two and allowed no hits in two innings to get the win for Jefferson. KristiAna Truelove pitched a scoreless inning in relief also striking a pair of batters.
The Lady Dragons next will open Region 8-3A play on Thursday at home against Monroe Area.

RABUN COUNTY 6
Dawson County rallied from a pair of early deficits to get a win at home on Monday.
Kaelyn Utech had three hits and an RBI while Bryce Greenwood had a pair of doubles and four RBI to pace a Lady Tigers offense that rapped out 14 hits.
Rabun led 2-0 in the first and 3-2 in the second before Dawson County (7-2) plated two runs in the bottom of the second and three in the fourth to take the lead.
Kylee Pulley pitched four innings in relief to get the win for the Lady Tigers. Pulley surrendered four hits and fanned eight.
River Evans hit a two-run home run in the first for Rabun County and added a solo shot in the fifth. Chloe Shirley smacked a two-run homer in the top of the seventh to pull the Lady Wildcats (2-5) within 8-6. But Rabun County could get no closer.
Next up for Dawson County Varsity Tigers is a game at Lumpkin County on Tuesday.
