Authorities asking public to help find runaway Gainesville teen

The Hall County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to help them locate a missing teenage girl who it's describing as a runaway.

The sheriff's office posted to social media Friday afternoon that Mikayla Martinez, age 16, was last seen at her home on Ironwood Drive Friday morning.

Martinez is descirbed as standing either 5-feet-6 or 5-feet-7 inches tall, weighing 106 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. Authorities said she was last seen wearing a white top and multi-colored pants that were mostly purple.

Anyone with information on Martinez' location is asked to contact Hall County investigators by calling 770-536-8812.
