Four employees were injured when a roof collapsed during a thunderstorm Friday afternoon in southern Forsyth County.
The Forsyth County Fire Department posted on social media that the incident happened at an industrial building on Technology Drive off of Bluegrass Valley Parkway at around 1:00 p.m.
The fire department said that while everyone had evacuated the building by the time fire crews arrived, four employees were taken from the scene to Northside Hospital Forsyth for treatment of minor injuries.
"The structure sustained substantial damage and flooding," fire officials said. "There was no release of any hazardous materials."
