White County authorities arrested two people on methamphetamine charges last week.
According to the White County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO), they responded to a residence on Cherrywood Trail at around 12 a.m. on Tuesday to serve a warrant on a wanted person.
When executing the warrant, authorities reportedly found meth, drug-related objects, marijuana, and a firearm.
The investigation led to the arrest of 44-year-old Joseph Maney of Cleveland and 60-year-old Frances Rivera of Cleveland.
Maney was arrested on charges of possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of meth, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug-related objects, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Rivera was arrested on the same drug charges, but no firearm charges.
