After Tuesday and Wednesday's action, the Georgia High School Association's postseason basketball rankings changed slightly.
In Class 3A, the Cherokee Bluff girls took the biggest hit, falling two spots to No. 5. The Lady Bears (14-5) were upset at home by Oconee County in Region 8-3A play on Tuesday. Jefferson (14-3), also in Region 8-3A, stayed at No. 2.
In Region 6-3A, five teams remain in the top 10. White County at No. 4 and Chestatee at No. 7 didn't move in the rankings.
On the boys side, in Region 8-3A, East Hall (14-3) moved up one spot after beating Jefferson on Tuesday to No. 2. Cherokee Bluff (18-1) remained in the top spot. Jefferson is 12th.
In Region 7-2A boys, Union County (14-2) fell one spot to No. 3.
In Region 8-A Division 2, Towns County (11-8) is in ninth, and in Region 8-A Division 1, Rabun County (15-3) moved up one spot to No. 2.
The GHSA will use the PSR to seed the state tournaments in Class A D1 & D2, Class 2A and Class 3A.
