BUFORD, Ga. — E’miah Fields scored 20 points, and Lydia Ledford had 17 to lead the Buford girls basketball team past Dacula, 51-42, on Monday at Buford Arena.
After finishing the first quarter tied at 11, the Lady Wolves (13-1, 5-1 Region 8-6A) took a 23-20 lead by halftime. They extended their lead 38-32 at the end of the third quarter. Buford outpaced Dacula 13-10 in the final period.
Jaliyah Benefield led the Lady Falcons with 15 points, and Jada Davis had 11.
