Softball: EaFo wins pitcher's duel over NHall; Rapp has 5 RBI in Jefferson win; EHall falls

GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Emma Siver tripled in the game’s only run in the bottom of the seventh to give East Forsyth a thrilling 1-0 win over North Hall on Wednesday at home.

It was a pitcher’s duel between the Lady Broncos’ Kendall Linn and North Hall’s Mac Taylor.

Linn went the distance, allowing just four hits and no walks while striking out six to get the win.

Taylor gave up no runs on no hits, no walks and fanned three in four innings. Emily Hlavacek went the final three innings for the Lady Trojans, surrendering three hits and one run.


JEFFERSON 16,
PEACHTREE RIDGE 7 (6 inn)

The Lady Dragons erased an early 4-0 deficit by scoring all 16 runs over the final four innings.

Jenna Rapp had a huge game with three hits and 5 RBI, including a three-run home run in the bottom of the sixth to clinch the run-rule victory.

Ally Baldwin had three hits and three RBI and Ava Catledge had two hits and two RBI for Jefferson (2-3) which snapped a two-game losing streak.

The Lady Dragons scored three runs each in the third and fourth innings to tie the game at 6 and then added four runs in the fifth and six more in the sixth to put the game away.


NORTH OCONEE 12,
EAST HALL 4 (5 inn)

North Oconee scored 11 runs in the final two innings for a 5-inning win over the Lady Vikings in Rabbittown.

East Hall took a 1-0 lead in the second scoring on a Lady Titans error. North Oconee tied it in the third and then extended the lead 12-2 in the fifth.

East Hall scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the fifth.
