Hall County Sheriff's Office arrests Talmo man on domestic violence allegations

A Talmo man is in the Hall County jail without bond for alleged domestic abuse at a home early Monday morning.

Hall County Sheriff's Office Spokesman Derreck Booth says deputies arrested 56-year old Cameron Mitchell Howard following their investigation for a domestic disturbance at a Talmo Road home.

Deputies claim Howard allegedly attacked a female victim at the home before 3:00 a.m. on August 5th, struck her with his fist, a belt and a plastic bin, and then dragged her by her hair while not allowing her to leave the residence. Officials says the alleged attack occured in the presence of two juvenile children under the age of 18.

Hall County authorities are holiding Howard without bond for battery under the Family Violence Act, false imprisonment, and additional charges.
