The Georgia Association of Conservation Districts, the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission and the Hall County Soil and Water Conservation District are coming together to present an informational workshop about pond health.
This workshop will be for local homeowners, property owners and anyone interested who wants to learn more about managing pond health.
This event is sponsored by the Chestatee- Chattahoochee RC&D council. The presentation will cover fish health, weed control, pond designs and healthy fish management. Additionally, the workshop will present information on farm programs.
The event will be held on Sept. 24 and will run from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will be at Elachee Nature Center located at 2100 Calvary Church Road.
