Hall County to mail real property assessments on Tuesday

By Caleb Hutchins Assistant News Director

The Hall County Tax Assessor's Office will be mailing 2025 Notices of Assessments on Tuesday, August 5 to real and personal property owners in the county.

The office issued a statement Friday announcing the notice issuances, saying any property owners in the county who do not receive theirs within "a reasonable amount of time from Tuesday," should either contact the assessor's office by calling 770-531-6720 or by attempting to view it using the qPublic Hall County website.

"Property owners will have 45 days from the date of the notice to file an appeal at qPublic Hall County, via U.S. mail or in person," the statement from the tax assessor's office said. "All homestead exemptions can also be applied for during the 45-day window. To qualify for the exemption for 2025, you must own and live in the house as of Jan. 1, 2025, and meet all other qualifications, such as age requirements."

Real property consists of land and any improvements to said land, while personal property consists of businesses, manufacturers or boats, personal watercraft or aircraft.
