Gainesville based transfer fleet celebrates its expansion

By Access WDUN Staff

A Gainesville based transfer fleet is celebrating its latest expansion.

Shoreline Transfer held the ribbon cutting ceremony for its new headquarters along New Harvest Road in Gainesville on Thursday, May 11th. Shoreline has unveiled their new facility which will allow growth for their logistics division and also includes a state of the art 8,000 square foot maintenance shop. This also will allow them to bring in many facets of the business that were previously outsourced.

Officials from Shoreline indicate that there was a strong sense of unity among the group as they were able to merge their sales team with their drivers and mechanics within one central facility.  The new location at 1829 New Harvest Road allows them to manage a growing fleet, currently comprised of 50 tractors and 200 trailers.

Shoreline began in 2013 with just 3 employees in a North Hall basement within steps of Lake Lanier's shoreline.  Its name pays homage to owner Aaron Conner growing up along the shores of Lake Lanier.

Conner says maintaining that family atmosphere as the company continues to grow and his ambition to give back to the community that has supported Shoreline's success.
