Service restored for majority of customers following Friday night thunderstorm

Update @ 8 a.m. on June 28, 2025:

Following the heavy thunderstorm that came through Hall County last night the majority of those without power have been restored this morning.

Georgia Power is reporting 7 outages in Hall County that is affecting 39 customers.

Jackson EMC reports 4 outages in Hall County.

A heavy thunderstorm that moved through Hall County Friday evening has left residents without power.

Georgia Power is reporting 19 outages affecting 1,751 customers in Gainesville.

Jackson EMC reports 243 outages in Hall County. 

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Southwestern Hall County and Forsyth County until 10 p.m. Friday.
