Live Healthy Gwinnett will host on Saturday, May 11, a community health fair in support of Mental Health Awareness Month.
Gwinnett County officials said the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the George Pierce Park Community Recreation Center in Suwanee.
The event is free and offers participants an opportunity to experience interactive demonstrations, receive health screenings and connect with local agencies. Event sponsors include CareSource and GUIDE, Inc.
“We are thrilled to host this community health fair to promote mental health awareness and empower residents with valuable resources and information,” Project Coordinator Carion Marcelin said. “By coming together as a community, we can break the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage individuals to prioritize their well-being.”
Live Healthy Gwinnett is a program dedicated to enhancing community health in Gwinnett County.
