A Gwinnett County commerce leader is appointed by Governor Brian Kemp to head the state's Lake Lanier Islands Development Authority.
Nick Masino was appointed by Governor Kemp on Friday to lead the Lake Lanier Islands Development Authority, as Masinois the current president and CEO for Gwinnett's Chamber of Commerce and Partnership Gwinnett.
Masino previously was Partnership Gwinnett's Chief Economic Development Officer.
A release from the Governor's Office says Masino oversaw 290 company expansions or relocations to Gwinnett County since Partnership Gwinnett's inception in 2007.
Masino has received many recent accolades, including Most Notable Georgians' Power 100: Most Influential Atlantans, and as one of the 100 Most Influential Georgians.
