The City of Suwannee invites the public to a night of music, food vendors, and more in its upcoming International Night Market and Glow in the Park Event.
Starting in 2017 as a walking lantern parade, the event has grown to be a staple event for the City of Suwanee. Having partnered with the Atlanta International Night Market back in 2022, the event has expanded to represent the multiple cultures within the city. Live entertainment, diverse art, and food vendors from across the state are on schedule for both nights.
The event will run from April 19 through 20 and is both family and pet-friendly.
On Saturday, April 20 just after 8 p.m., the community is invited to participate in the Glow in the Park lantern parade and concert. Anyone participating is encouraged to create illuminated lanterns to parade together. The Suwannee Art Center will host workshops a week before the event for anyone interested in building their own lantern.
Shuttles will be available from Gwinnett Church (300 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Sugar Hill) and from 305 Shawnee (305 Shawnee N Dr, Suwannee). Shuttles will run from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Friday, April 19, and from 4:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 20.
