The Flowery Branch Police Department arrested two men Friday after they were allegedly found in possession of illegal drugs during a traffic stop.
Flowery Branch Police officials said officers conducted a traffic stop on Ahmad Essam, 21, of Atlanta and the passenger Michael Blackmon, 50, of Chamblee.
During the traffic stop officers found the men in possession of nearly 289 grams of suspected methamphetamine, close to 3 grams of suspected cocaine, nearly 17 grams of suspected testosterone, multiple counterfeit driver's licenses and drug-related paraphernalia.
According to authorities, Essam was charged with possession of cocaine, forgery second-degree, possession of drug-related objects, window tint violation and having a defective windshield.
Blackmon was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, possession of a schedule three drug (testosterone), three counts of forgery second degree and possession of drug-related objects.
Both men are being held in the Hall County Jail without bond.
