The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce has opened up registration for its 16th Annual Chamber Chase 5K & 2 Mile Wellness Walk on Thursday, March 28 at Riverside Preparatory Academy.
Presented by Northeast Georgia Health System, the 5k will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the 2 mile Wellness Walk at 6:10 p.m.
Those who wish to participate can register online or at the Chamber at 230 E.E. Butler Parkway in Gainesville for $30 until March 19. After that deadline, the fee will be raised to $35. All registered participants will receive a race t-shirt.
“Chamber members, family and friends are signing up for fun and fitness as 5K runners and spirit-filled walkers enjoy this popular event,” a release from the Chamber said. “Sign up your company team and promote employee fitness or register as an individual.”
Finish line results and race times will be done electronically The event will also feature individual, age, and team awards, including titles such as “Fastest CEO”, “Team Spirit”, “Fastest Team” and more.
Food, music,and award presentations will follow the race.
