Heavy wind guts from Wednesday evening has left a few isolated areas of Northeast Georgia with downs trees, limbs and even power lines in a few locations.
Downed trees early Wednesday evening caused issues in Hall County as the Sheriff's Office reported a fallen tree and downed power lines at Gaines Mill Road by East Hall Road and Eberhart Cemetary after 5:00 p.m. Jackson EMC and safety crews needed over 3 hours to clear the roadway and secure the area by 9:45 p.m.
A few isolated power outages were initially reported in Habersham County by Skyview Drive and Harvest Church Road with the Habersham EMC crews recently restoring power to a few dozen customers there.
Jackson EMC was dealing with only a couple of isolated outages between Gwinnett and Jackson County, as of 5:00 Thursday morning.
