Gwinnett County Police arrested four individuals after a year-long investigation into a series of entering autos and vehicle thefts, among other charges.
Gwinnett Police said the related crimes affected hundreds of victims across Gwinnett County and surrounding areas.
The investigation began on June 5, 2024, when the Gwinnett County Police General Crimes Unit identified a pattern of criminal activity involving a group of suspects using stolen vehicles to target cars throughout the county. Over a 14-month period, the group broke into vehicles, stealing credit cards, money, and firearms, resulting in hundreds of victims in Gwinnett County.
Through targeted investigative methods, detectives identified the suspects and traced their location to an apartment complex in East Point, south of Atlanta. On August 5, Gwinnett County Police, with assistance from Atlanta Police SWAT, executed a search warrant, recovering multiple stolen firearms and arresting four individuals.
Three of the four arrested were from the Atlanta area:
- Kejuan Miliam (25, Atlanta) – Arrested and is facing multiple entering auto felony charges, multiple counts of criminal damage to property in the second degree and is charged under RICO in this case.
- Travion Middleton (25, East Point) – Arrested and charged with felony theft by taking, two counts of felony entering auto, and is charged under RICO in this case.
- Lydericus Broomhead (17, Atlanta) – Arrested and charged under RICO in this case.
- Kordale Miliam – Arrested on numerous outstanding warrants including felony murder, armed robbery and aggravated assault. He is currently in the Fulton County Jail.
