A major roadway in northeast Forsyth County was shut down for roughly an hour Monday evening after a truck hauling bricks overturned.
A social media post from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said the accident happened on Georgia 53 near Chestatee Heights Road, just west of Bolling Bridge, around 6:45 p.m. Sheriff's office officials later confirmed that the truck had ended up upside-down in a ditch alongside the road.
No other vehicles have been reported to be involved in the accident and no injuries occurred. The roadway was re-opened later in the evening.
