By Lawson Smith Anchor/Reporter

The Sautee Nacoochee Center will officially open its first art show of 2025 on Jan.17.

The Larger than Life exhibit will feature works from six area artists, including  Nancy Ackerman of Toccoa, Keith Burgess of Buford, Judy Bynum George of Helen, David Horton of Clarkesville, and Beth Paffenback of Kennesaw and Win Crannell of Dahlonega.

“Nancy is known for her bright floral paintings,” a release from the center said. “Calming landscapes are Keith’s favorite subject, while Judy creates landscapes in a modern impressionistic style. Very detailed impressionistic landscapes are David’s forte. Beth concentrates on “scapes” rendered in a modern impressionism style. Win masterfully creates detailed drawings of trees.”

The exhibit will run through March 22, 2025. The public is invited to attend a reception on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025 from 2 p.m.-4p.m.

The Sautee Nacoochee Center is located at 283 Hwy 255, Sautee Nacoochee. There is no admission to visit the exhibits or shop in the galleries.
